GRINDING

We have a team of grinders on staff, and we're not talking about delicious Italian sandwiches. We're talking about experts with professional grade power grinders in hand. These aces of abrasion will smooth out the tracks the straighteners left in your bumper. They used hammers, as you'll recall, and those left marks. Grinders begin the preliminary work of polishing out those marks.

Armed with their 9," 60 grit grinding discs, the team smooths out large imperfections that would otherwise show up through the chrome, though we're still several stages away from the plating. This step is key to getting that famous, flawless, North Star shine, and we wouldn't imagine skipping it.

The next step, if needed, is patching.
